Barixá in Hantxa Kuin, the Huni Kuin (Kaxinawá) language, means 'sunshine' or,  ‘may the sun illuminate us’. - Kawá Huni Kuin

HELLO!

My name is Kawá Huni Kuin.

I am a teacher, musician and pajé (traditional healer) from the Huni Kuin (Kaxinawá) indigenous group based in Acre, Brazil.

 

I also study the English language in order to share my culture and traditions with the world. Through these activities, I am able to support my family, my community and provide awareness to the world about the Indigenous peoples of Acre and Brazil.

Here you will be able to contribute to the Huni Kuin community in many ways:
